About Us

Our Mission

To provide our community with a friendly, safe soccer environment where all children, all ages, all skills are invited to participate.

History

TCSA is a member of the Oklahoma Soccer Association. They dictate the structure of soccer play at TCSA. Insurance is provided through OSA.

We provide opportunities to learn individual and team skills in a positive atmosphere of good sportsmanship. Competition is a natural part of any sport, but it is not the primary objective of our recreational program.  It is meant to be a low-key, low-pressure recreational soccer program. Our goals for all participants include building self-esteem, self-confidence, team work, and respect for self and others.

TCSA does not keep score or statistics for in-house recreation play. Score is kept for our traveling teams.

AGE DIVISIONS

U4-U12: In-House coed

REGISTRATION FEE

The cost for one season is $70 per player. If you coach your child, the registration fee is waived for that child!

The registration fee covers game play and referee fees. Uniforms and other player soccer-related equipment are not covered.

SEASONS

Fall

Season usually begins last weekend of August and ends prior to fall break. Age promotions will occur during fall seasons.

Spring

Season usually begins end of March and wraps up toward the end of May. Players will remain in the same age division during Spring.

Referees

League Information

League Information

TCSA employs OSA certified referees. They have attended required classes and passed tests in order to wear the badge and blow the whistle. While many are young in age, they hold the authority on the field. All players, coaches, and parents should respect them and their knowledge.

Referee issues can be handled appropriately through a chain of command. Please refrain from addressing referees during games. The head coach may seek out our referee coordinator first. Board member/President next. Safety related issues are of highest concern.

Game Day Information

Game days are what everyone looks forward to. We get to see all the player's hard work during the week put on display! There are a few protocols we have put in place that should be followed to encourage player self-confidence, safety, and structure:

  1. We do not keep score for ages U4-U12 in-house games. In the event some ages have season-ending tournaments, score will then be recorded.
  2. We pay referees young and old to manage all games.
  3. No pets allowed, except for service animals.
  4. Ages U8 & Up will have coaches/players sitting on opposite sides of the field from parents/fans.
  5. No smoking.

In-House Game Day Schedules:

U4: Monday Night

U6-U10: Saturday Afternoon

U12: Sunday Afternoon

Travel Game Day Schedules:

U12-U19: Saturdays, unless otherwise specified

Practice Information

We encourage all coaches to hold at least one practice, no more than two, per week. Not only does this provide time to develop player skills, but nurtures teamwork and cohesiveness. Some things to keep in mind:

  1. Practice length should fit the age group. Younger players will have a shorter attention span than older players.
  2. No practices will be held on the game fields.
